Alberta is a city in Stevens County, Minnesota. Minnesota Highway 28 serves as a main route in the community. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.27 square miles (0.70 km2), all of it land. The elevation is 1,112 feet (339 m).

As of the census of 2010, there were 103 people, 41 households, and 32 families residing in the city. The population density was 381.5 inhabitants per square mile (147.3/km2). There were 51 housing units at an average density of 188.9 per square mile (72.9/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 100.0% White.

There were 41 households, of which 22.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.4% were married couples living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 7.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 22.0% were non-families. 19.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.51, and the average family size was 2.84.

The median age in the city was 46.5 years. 22.3% of residents were under the age of 18, 3.9% were between the ages of 18 and 24, 23.3% were from 25 to 44, 34.9% were from 45 to 64, and 15.5% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 53.4% male and 46.6% female.

ALBERTA, a city in sections 3 and 4 of Scott Township, incorporated as a village on May 6, 1912, formerly called Wheeler, was renamed in honor of the wife of E. B. Lindsey, a farmer there. The post office was also first known as Wheeler, 1883-84, then as Clearfield, 1884-87, and as Alberta from 1896; it had a station of the Great Northern Railway.
