Several 911 calls lead multiple fire departments to a structure fire on Battle Lake 

Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office said Saturday around 6:13 p.m. they received multiple 911 calls from residents on Eagle Lake saying a residence on the southeast side of the lake was on fire. By the time fire crews arrived, the structure was fully engulfed.

Lakeville Middle School Principal Now Facing Burglary Charge 

The Dakota County Attorney's Office has announced a Lakeville middle school principal, already facing stalking charges, has now been charged with burglary in connection to an incident that reportedly occurred in 2015. Chris Endicott, who was arrested in Otter Tail County last week after Apple Valley police requested help locating him, is charged with one count of second-degree burglary.

Middle school principal charged with stalking returns to jail 

A middle school principal charged with stalking is back in jail, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office was contacted on Thursday by Apple Valley police to help locate a fugitive, Christopher Endicott, 50, of Apple Valley.

Twin Cities principal, wanted for stalking, arrested while fishing on ... 

A Twin Cities area middle school principal who has been under investigation for hacking into his school district's computer system has been arrested on an Otter Tail County lake. Apple Valley Police and the county SWAT team arrested 50 year-old Christopher Endicott in a fish house on East Battle Lake.

Officials say Periwinkles Marketplace in Otter Tail County is a total loss after fire 

It is believed that the fire started while a vehicle was being worked on in the garage portion of the building. Valley News Live confirms with the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office that a couple of businesses are on fire.

Business destroyed by fire in Otter Tail County 

KFGO reports the fire broke out about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Periwinkle Marketplace on Highway 78 in Ottertail. Periwinkle is a clothing, furniture, and home decor store.

Death of man in Battle Lake, MN under investigation 

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a Richville man who was found on West Battle Lake during the noon hour Saturday. 64 year-old Dennis Stanford was paraskiing on the lake.

In all-white Fergus Falls, early black settlers 'toed the mark' 

Marilyn Tate Johnson 1941-present Marilyn Tate Johnson held a photo of her family taken in the 1950s . Her forebears were among 85 black families that migrated north from Kentucky to Fergus Falls in the late 1800s, inspired by a Civil War reunion of sorts in St. Paul.
