An 18-year-old Halstad, Minnesota driver was injured after he failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a school bus in Norman County Wednesday afternoon.

Woman pleads guilty to manslaughter in fatal YouTube shooting stunt 

A 20-year-old woman has pleaded guilty in Norman County District Court to second-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of her boyfriend last summer. Under a plea agreement between the prosecution and defense, Monalisa Perez would serve 180 days in jail and spend 10 years on supervised probation.

Minnesota Prosecutor Seeks Jail Time for Stop-Arm Runners 

A fed-up county prosecutor here is going beyond issuing fines to motorists who don't stop for stopped school buses; he is putting them in jail, KFGO reports . Since the start of the school year, Norman County Attorney James Brue has given two people jail time over a weekend, and fined them $285, according to the news source.
