Cities and counties invited to apply for 2018 innovation funding 

It was a full house at the Hilltop Regional Kitchen's Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening Ceremony in Eagle Bend on Nov 15, 2017. The kitchen project received Innovation Funding in 2016 and 2017.

Randall awarded $1.38 million for new water treatment plant 

Randall, a city of about 650 people in Morrison County, will use the funding to build a plant designed to remove nitrate, arsenic, iron and manganese from the community's water supply. RANDALL-The city of Randall was approved for a funding package of nearly $1.38 million from the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority for a new drinking water treatment plant.

Several arrested following SWAT raid in Browerville 

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office responded Friday to a report of shots fired at a home in Swanville Township. No one inside the residence was injured, but investigators located a window that had been shot through from outside the home, according to a release from the sheriff's office.

Small businesses in Morrison County being scammed 

Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen reports a male party with a foreign accent will call businesses from the phone number 410-384-8272 and will ask for prices to purchase large amounts of product and ask if they take credit card payments over the phone. If so, the businesses ship out the product after the payment goes through later to find out that the credit card number was stolen, the news release reported.
