RRCC 'Voyageur Career Expo' deemed a success 

Of the local surrounding area high schools invited, 27 students attended from Falls High School, 26 students attended from Indus High School, 13 students attended from Kelliher High School, 38 students attended from Lake of the Woods High School, Baudette, and 49 students attended from Littlefork-Big Falls High School.

Our View: Know facts on sales tax 

Sharing among us all - residents, workers, visitors, travelers - the costs to maintain and improve this community's streets and other infrastructure seems the most equitable way to keep the Koochiching County seat and the county's largest city up to date and ready for economic development. But if you're a city voter and want to know more, we urge you to show up at 7 p.m. Tuesday when the International Falls City Council will provide the details of what could happen with voter approval of a 1 percent local sales and use tax and what is likely to happen should voters reject the proposal.

Community Cancer Walk returns Oct. 6

Council considers property, funding 

International Falls residents Saturday got a chance to clean up their yards at the city's Clean-up Day. Items were brought to the Falls High School parking lot, where they were collected at no charge to residents.
