Lois Riess' next likely stop to be Florida 

Investigators are seeking to extradite to Florida the Minnesota grandmother accused of killing her husband and a Florida woman in an effort to steal her identity, police said Saturday. Police in the South Texas resort town in which Lois Ann Riess was captured late Thursday said she was arraigned early Saturday in municipal court and is being held without bond in the Cameron County jail to await a court hearing over her pending extradition to Florida.

Dodge County U.S. 14 solar panel layout changes 

Dodge County Commissioners last week agreed to a change in the type of screening on a solar installation near U.S. Highway 14 west of Dodge Center. Jeff Madejczyk, an environmental consultant and engineer representing the Solar Provider Group, explained that the planned installation has been reduced from a 10-acre one-megawatt-producing installation to a four-acre one-half-megawatt installation.

Nationwide Manhunt For Grandmother Accused Of Murder, Identity Theft 

MINNEAPOLIS - A nationwide manhunt is underway for a 56-year-old Minnesota woman wanted for two murders, including the killing of a woman whose identity she may have stolen. Lois Ann Riess is accused of kicking off the crime spree by shooting and killing her husband at their home in tiny Blooming Prairie last month.

1 injured after Dodge County rollover Monday morning 

DODGE COUNTY, Minn. A rollover crash injured one person Monday morning. Mary Brogan, 23, of Waltham, Minnesota, suffered non-life threatening injuries after the Jeep Cherokee she was driving rolled over on Highway 14 near 260th Ave. in Dodge County at around 6:42 a.m. The Kasson Fire Department, the Kasson Police Department and the Dodge County Sheriff's Office responded.

Woman on the run after allegedly committing double murder, stealing woman's identity 

Police have kicked off a nationwide search for a woman who police say killed her husband in late March and then stole the identity of another woman after killing her last week. Lois Reiss, 56, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, is suspected of killing her husband, David, in their home on March 23, according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
