Tests show no violations at Circle K hog feedlots 

An air quality monitor was installed July 3 at the Circle K Family Farms' Holst I site near Bellchester. The feedlot and another owned by the Kohlnhofers were monitored with the results showing no violations of hydrogen sulfide standards.

Expect delays, detours from bridge deck repairs 

West Circle Drive bridge over Highway 14, on Rochester's west side - Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction during bridge deck maintenance from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 14. Goodhue County Road 11 bridge over U.S. Highway 52 at Pine Island - All motorists will be detoured on July 18. Motorists on the east side of the bridge wanting to go southbound on Highway 52 can take the east frontage road south to Olmsted County Road 12 and exit onto Highway 52 southbound Motorists on the east side of the bridge wanting to cross the bridge can go north on Highway 52 to the Highway 58 exit at Zumbrota and return southbound on Highway 52 Motorists on the west side wanting to cross the bridge or go northbound can travel southbound on Highway 52 to the next interchange, cross over and proceed north on Highway 52 Real-time traffic and travel information can be found at 511mn.org , mndot.gov or ... MPCA sets up air monitoring at Goodhue County hog farm

Dodge County public defender retires after 22 years 

After twenty-two years of serving as a public defender, Rachael Drenckpohl retired in June. "If it weren't for the people in Dodge County, I probably would have retired a lot sooner," she said.

MPCA sets up air monitoring at Goodhue County hog farm
