Hopefully the snow is done for the spring so plans can finally be made for Ceylon Community Day auction and rummage sales. It was originally set for April 14, then postponed to April 21, and NOW planned for April 28. Some rummage sales may have been cancelled but most are postponed. 6:58 a.m. - Police received a report of criminal damage to a vehicle in the 1600 block of North North Avenue. 4:20 p.m. - Police received a report of criminal damage to a vehicle in the 1100 block of North Orient Street. Larry M. Coffell, 48, of Palos Heights, Ill.; Melanie J. Holt, 53, of Owatonna; Julie Jo Prairie, 40, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Jennifer K. Gesche, 38, of Estherville, Iowa; Troy M. Bonin, 49, of Fairmont; Makaylyn L. Chambers, 19, of Eden, N.C.; Joseph C. Puk, 22, of Eden Prairie; each fined $125. Robert W. Kosman, 46, of St. Paul was convicted of speeding; fined $135. This Sunday is Easter Sunday and I hope you and yours have a very happy and safe Easter. It also happens to be April 1, so we're hoping the weather doesn't play an April Fools' joke on us. |
