STEWARTVILLE, Minn.- The city of Stewartville is in communication with The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to add fish back into a local pond. Over the last winter the city completed a dredging project and were able to reevaluate the depth and reseal the pond in Florence park.

Routine traffic stop leads to Stewartville drug arrest 

A Rochester woman was arrested for drug possession and sales early Thursday following a routine traffic stop on Main Street in Stewartville. Power poles knocked down in car crashes 

Two utility poles in the Rochester area were broken by car crashes during the past 24 hours, leading to some power outages. Stewartville brush dump closed 

STEWARTVILLE, Minn.- Residents will have to hold their branches and twigs until next week as the city clears out non biodegradable material the people were dumping at the brush dump site. City administrator Bill Schimmel tells KIMT that the city is reorganizing the area to make it more organized by separating the debris into section.

Two-vehicle crash in Stewartville 

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office says one pickup truck rear-ended another just before the intersection. Stewartville Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the scene as well and the vehicles were quickly moved off the street.

Strong Winds Cause Major Damages in Grand Meadow and Stewartville 

A farmstead five miles north of Grand Meadow suffered numerous major damages from downed trees. ABC 6 Chief Meteorologist Chris Kuball was on scene and talked to the owners and said that he could see downed trees everywhere.

Stewartville Man Facing Criminal Sexual Conduct Charges 

A Stewartville man is set to go before an Olmsted County judge Thursday after authorities said he allegedly touched a juvenile inappropriately. According to Captain Scott Behrns with the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, the alleged abuse happened between June 4 and June 8 in Stewartville.
