Coming out of retirement - Patrick Wussow dedicated to serving Breezy Point 

Patrick Wussow took over as Breezy Point city administrator in March and brings with him a lot of experience, including previous work for the cities of Brainerd, Big Lake, Tonka Bay and North Mankato.

A veteran tried to sell his hearing aids to buy a... 

Gilbert Hoppe put pictures of his hearing aids on a Facebook sales site for $1,000 with a handwritten note: Pair of hearing aids for sale or trade for a good vehicle. He needed money to buy a wheelchair-accessible van, but a flood of cruel comments soon appeared under his ad.

Hagedorn, Feehan claim party endorsements for Congress 

Both Republicans and Democrats on Saturday endorsed candidates for the open First District congressional seat, but the Republicans will still get to vote in an Aug. 14 primary. At the GOP convention in Mankato Jim Hagedorn, of Blue Earth, won 76 percent of the vote on the first ballot, topping state Sen. Carla Nelson, of Rochester, who took 21 percent.
