Nisswa: City to issue $1.7 million in bonds to fix streets 

Nisswa will issue $1.7 million in street reconstruction bonds to pay for improvements to city streets in the next two years. The city council on Wednesday, May 9, adopted a five-year plan outlining what streets would be improved and agreed to issue general obligation street reconstruction bonds not to exceed the $1.7 million to pay for improvements.

Cass County Board: Gull Lake trail cooperative agreement extended for 3 years 

Cass County commissioners voted Tuesday to extend a cooperative agreement for the Gull Lake Walking and Biking Trail with Crow Wing County; the cities of East Gull Lake and Nisswa, and Fairview Township. Cass Highway Department moved a metal cold storage building to its Walker highway garage site.
