Police Blotter - Feb. 18 

Police made contact with person who was very impaired and was transported to detox. THEFT-A 26-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman were arrested for shoplifting at Mills Fleet Farm, 14114 Dellwood Drive.

'How to Analyze the News' class offered by historical society 

The Morrison County Historical Society is offering a class called "How to Analyze the News," from 10 a.m. to noon March 10 at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls. The class will cover propaganda, confirmation bias, the anatomy of a news article and slant.

Logging tour offered at the Weyerhaeuser Museum 

The history of the logging industry in Morrison County will be presented at a tour from 11 a.m. to noon Feb. 24 at The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls. Starting in the mid-1800s with the sale of trees by Chief Hole in the Day to Franklin Steele, the logging industry became a huge industry in Morrison County.

Police Blotter - Feb. 5 

A 32-year-old man was arrested at 4:05 p.m. Thursday after deputy arrived in Ironton and found a vehicle off the road and the driver was slumped over and found to be drunk. DISTURBANCE-Report at 3:09 p.m. Thursday of an intoxicated male arguing with his wife on the 10000 block of River Hills Circle, Brainerd.
