Search warrant of Minn. home turns up variety of drugs and weapons,... 

Five people were arraigned Thursday, Feb. 1, on a variety of felony and misdemeanor drug and weapons charges that stemmed from a search warrant executed Tuesday afternoon. The search yielded methamphetamine, pills, cocaine, numerous firearms, ammunition, and a rocket-propelled grenade launcher.

Man dies in house fire in southwest Minnesota 

One person has died in a house fire that broke out early Saturday morning near Lake Lillian in southwest Minnesota. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office said the fire was reported at 2:50 a.m. at a house on Minnesota Highway 7 about two miles east of Lake Lillian.
