Poverty rate unchanged in Wisconsin 

The rate of 11.3 percent is below the national rate of 12.3 percent. The figures show Wisconsin's median household income rose more than $1,000 to about $59,300 in 2017.

Crash on I-90 sends man to hospital 

An Illinois man was injured Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed in a ditch along Interstate 90. Winston William Marsh, 60, of Belvidere, Ill., was westound on I-90 at about 6:55 p.m. Sunday when the 2016 Mercedes GLE he was driving went into median ditch and collided with a cement culvert cover then collided with a guardrail, causing the vehicle to roll onto its drivers side, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report. Marsh was transported to Gundersen Health Systems in La Crosse with non-life threatening injuries.

Appreciation 

If you're like most of us, you'll shake your head at that question because, and don't we think like this, our answer to the question would be Hmm, are you certain? I'll go out on a limb and pose the premise that we let times go by where a simple was not offered, a time when we walked by a beautiful piece of nature without noticing it and the time someone offered a bit of sympathy, which we accepted as if we earned it. I know that may sound a bit caustic, but let's be honest with ourselves, we've all been there.
