Wanamingo man quietly makes a decade of special deliveries 

"I furnish my truck, trailer and my time," says volunteer Darrell Nesseth, of Kenyon, who has been delivering items -- including toys and clothing -- annually to those in need in Texas for 10 years. He said he's driven roughly 14,500 miles total delivering the annual Christmas load.

Officials ID man found dead in Kenyon 

The man found dead Tuesday morning outside an apartment building in Kenyon has been identified as Joseph William Thiem, 35, a Goodhue County resident, said Police Chief Lee Sjolander. A caller reported seeing someone on the ground near the rental property at the intersection of Second Street and Langford Avenue.

Kenyon's new fire hall 'was a long time in coming' 

In June, when the city opened its new 12,500-square-foot fire hall in the southwest part of town, it gave Kenyon's firefighters something they hadn't had in years. "The space," said John Lee, former fire chief and a member of Kenyon's 30-member volunteer fire department.

2 injured in crash near Wanamingo 

Around 7:10 p.m. Marian Milbridge, 81, of North St. Paul, was northbound on Highway 57 with her passenger, Helen Hall, 70, of Fullerton, Calif., when her vehicle collided with one driven by Duane Pliscott, 47, of Kenyon, who was westbound on Minnesota Highway 60. Both Hall and Milbridge suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital -Saing. Marys Campus in Rochester for treatment.
