Cattle run loose on Minnesota highway, some still missing 

FOSSTON, Minn.-A Polk County deputy located a "small herd" of 10 to 14 cows running down U.S. Highway 2 in northwest Minnesota east of Fosston Monday. Local law enforcement and the Fosston Fire Department attempted to stop the cattle as they continued to run around the east side of town for more than two hours.

Small herd of cattle on the loose in Fosston for 1-2 hours 

Police and fire departments tried to stop the cattle, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said, but the animals roamed the east side of town for 1-2 hours. Most of the cows were rounded up and taken back to the owner's property, but there were some animals missing as of Monday afternoon.

Fosston woman injured after driver fell asleep at the wheel 

A Fosston woman was taken to a hospital after the driver of the vehicle she was in fell asleep at the wheel. The Minnesota State Patrol says 30-year-old Andrew Rossberg of Fosston was driving his truck west on Hwy.

Students injured in bus rollover in northwestern Minn. 

Seven students and the driver were injured when a school bus from Grand Rapids rolled early Monday morning, May 7, on U.S. Highway 2 about 6 miles east of Fosston. The bus was transporting students to a field trip in Crookston.

No serious injuries in school bus crash in Minnesota 

Grand Rapids Public Schools says 22 students and one staff member were traveling to the Great Plains Youth Institute in Crookston on Monday when their bus was involved in a crash. Eleven students and the driver were taken to hospitals in Bagley and Fosston with minor injuries such as cuts and abrasions.
