Sunny skies have farmers looking to get back on track 

Farmer Jack Madden harvests corn in a field near Eyota. Rain kept farmers out of their fields earlier this month, but clear weather now has them hurrying to get the corn and soybean harvests back on track.

Student-Athlete of the Week: Dover-Eyota's Jack Studer 

Jack Studer is having a record breaking senior season. The wide receiver broke the school record for receiving yards in a season against Zumbrota-Mazeppa and broke the record for receptions in a season against Chatfield.

Man accused of crashing an ATV to stand trial 

Paul George Cassidy, 54 of Eyota, entered a not guilty plea Thursday to criminal vehicular operation and DWI. Authorities say Cassidy crashed the ATV on July 9, injuring a 71-year-old man.

Area students learn about early 1800s at Zumbro Bend Rendezvous 

The weather may not have cooperated, but students from local schools didn't seem to mind as they attended "School Days" at the Zumbro Bend Rendezvous last week in Dodge Center. Sixth-graders from Byron and fifth-graders from Kasson-Mantorville sloshed through water and mud on Thursday to get a view of life in the early 1800s while students from Triton and Hayfield braved cold and wind on Friday.
