MnDOT to host open house on CR 9 roundabout 

A new roundabout will be constructed this summer at the intersection of Olmsted County Road 9 and Minnesota Highway 42. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will host an open house where the public is invited to learn more about the project, according to a statement from MnDOT. Members of the MnDOT team will be available to answer questions at the Eyota Volunteer Ambulance Station, 753 Robert Ave. SW, in Eyota.

Wild's Zucker Surprises Dover-Eyota Second Grader 

A Minnesota Wild player made a special trip down to Dover-Eyota Elementary School Wednesday. He went down to thank one of his biggest fans and her classmates who are helping him with a campaign aimed at helping sick kids.
