Woman that allegedly tried shooting MN trooper pleaded not guilty 

UPDATE: Court records show 30-year-old Melody Gray of Milwaukee pleaded not guilty in Clay County court Thursday morning. Gray pleaded not guilty to felony charges of attempted murder, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of stolen property.

Numerous power outages in valley 

As of 1:15 a.m., Xcel Energy's outage maps shows 2,739 customers affected in Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth, Sabin, Barnesville, Comstock, Baker, and Wolverton. Xcel crews are also working on outages in Buxton, Reynolds and Thompson, ND, that left a total of 1,620 customers in the dark.

Fargo task force seeks reduction in plastic bag use 

The Fargo-Moorhead Plastic Bag Task Force aims to reduce the number of bags littering the community and ending up in landfills by providing more education and opportunities to recycle. The Fargo-Moorhead Plastic Bag Task Force found that the average grocery store here uses 52,400 pounds of plastic bags each year.
