Solving the mystery of $1 million donor to rural Minn. schools 

"She was the most wonderful person I had in my life." Dorothy Kvitek on her friend Deloris "Dee" Kenner Three schools in Perham, Minn., got an unexpected Christmas gift when they were notified recently of a $1 million donation left to them by a woman who grew up in the area.

Severe Weather Begins In NW Minn., Expected In Metro Overnight 

MINNEAPOLIS - Another round of severe storms is expected to roll across central Minnesota and the Twin Cities metro Tuesday night, bringing large hail, strong winds and the possibility of tornadoes. Storms are continuing to fire off as they head east across the state, towards the Metro.

20 American flags taken but returned with help of social media 

"I was surprised that the flags were gone, because people around here tend to be very patriotic," said the Dent American Legion Post 148 Commander, Ron Bjelland. Red, white and blue flags typically line the streets in the small town of Dent, Minnesota.
