Game of Thrones: Manhattan Beach mayor to be chosen with 'game of chance' 

Members of the Manhattan Beach Canvassing Board are set to meet 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14 to determine the new mayor via coin toss, card pull or another "game of chance."

Crosslake Dog Park Plans Soft Opening 

A soft or unofficial opening of the Crosslake Dog Park will occur through the winter months to help determine where the benches and other structures, such as a wind shelter and picnic tables should be located. A grand opening will take place in the spring when organizers can more properly thank all of the individuals and groups who have helped to make this park a reality.

Crash at intersection injures 4 

A driver and three passengers were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle crash Friday, Nov. 2, at the intersection of Highways 169 and 27 in Onamia. The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at 4:10 p.m., where a Chevy Equinox was traveling east on Highway 27 and a Chevy Silverado was southbound on Highway 169.
