Search Warrant executed, 4 arrested for drug and probation charges 

On February 16, 2018 at approximately 7:00 am, the Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division executed a search warrant at a residence located at 411 5th Ave., NE, Crosby, MN. The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of narcotics within Crow Wing County.

Bay Lake Lions scholarship applications due March 2 

Applications from Crosby and Aitkin graduating seniors for the 2018 Bay Lake Lions $1,000 Scholarship are due March 2. The Bay Lake Lions have awarded 10 scholarships each year for the last 19 years, five to students from each school. Scholarships will be awarded later in the spring before graduation.

Lee, Radinovich enter DFL endorsement race in 8th District 

Two familiar names joined the race Thursday, Feb. 15, to represent the DFL in the upcoming midterm election to replace retiring 8th Congressional District Rep. Rick Nolan. Retired television news anchor Michelle Lee told the News Tribune she is "99.9 percent" sure she'll run, while former state representative Joe Radinovich announced his campaign in a news release.

Crosby artist Nora Novotny's work is on display at the Baxter cafe and the Holy Yoga studio in Crosby. "The Sky is Falling," exhibition on display through March 9, and is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday; with an artist talk, 2-3 p.m. Tuesday followed by an artist reception from 3-5 p.m. Chase Vreeland is the featured artist for February.
