ATV Crash in Emily 

On May 11th, 2018 at approximately 9:57 PM, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department was notified of an ATV crash with injuries at 38455 State Hwy 6, Emily. Crow Wing County Deputies, Crosby Ambulance, North Memorial Air Care and Emily First Responders were dispatched to the scene.

Flames and black smoke billow Wednesday and destroy a home on Serpent Lake in Deerwood. Submitted 

A Deerwood man who works the night shift and was sleeping Wednesday afternoon was woken by a neighbor after his house on Serpent Lake started on fire, Deerwood Fire Chief Mike Bodle said.

MnDOT seeks feedback on plans for Highway 210 Crosby-Ironton project at open house May 9 

The project as proposed will resurface and reconstruct 2 miles of Highway 210 between Seventh Avenue in Ironton and .2 miles east of Third Avenue Northeast in Crosby, reconstruct or repair sidewalks, repair or install new curb and gutter, upgrade signs and overhead lights, and make other improvements while lanes and road segments are closed. CROSBY-Crosby and Ironton area residents, businesses and motorists are encouraged to provide feedback on plans for a major project on Highway 210 through Crosby and Ironton at an open house May 9 in Crosby.
