First-time delegates inspired by candidates, anti-Trump feelings 

The 2016 presidential election is still being felt this weekend as more than 1,300 delegates gather for the 2018 Minnesota DFL State Convention taking place at the Mayo Civic Center. A common theme among speakers and folks just talking politics is the idea that the DFL can be a key factor in repulsing the GOP wave that swept across the country with the election of President Donald Trump.

Conrad Severson 

Mundwiler and Larson Funeral Home of Clinton announces the death of Conrad LeRoy Severson, age 81, of Clinton, who passed away peacefully on hospice after a long illness on May 16, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 19, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton beginning at 10:30 a.m. Visitation was held Thursday evening from 5 - 7 p.m. at the church and continued one hour prior to the service.
