Land Stewardship hosting soil building workshops 

From 10 a.m. to noon, Jan. 25 at Recreation Cafe, 20 E. Main St. in Lewiston, the meeting will feature cover crop specialist T.J. Kartes from Blooming Prairie and dairy farmer Robb Miller of Lewiston. Kartes will discuss how to successfully cover crop large acreages.

Missing Florida teen could be headed to Minnesota 

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tallahassee says 17-year-old Kaileigh Hand may be in the company of a 25-year-old man, Charles McMullen, and they could be traveling to Caledonia, Minnesota. Hand is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 260 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
