Artist's family open to relocation of La Crosse's Chief Hiawatha statue 

After a meeting in city hall this week, plans are in the works to move the statue to a private farm in Caledonia, Minn. "The family really felt that it was the best interest of the family, and to preserve their dad's legacy, that they move it to a place where it would be preserved," city council member Gary Padesky said of Hiawatha sculptor Anthony Zimmerhakl's family.

Jul 16, 2018--Dwight Bridge Fund , managed by Dwight Capital's affiliated investment advisor, financed a three-property memory care portfolio and an ALF/SNF in Minnesota. DBF, along with a bank partner, provided $30,545,000 in floating-rate bridge financing on the acquisition of the Clarity Pointe Portfolio, a 174-bed Memory Care portfolio encompassing three properties in Arkansas and Tennessee.

DEED awards $19 million in grants for rehabilitation and infrastructure 

The Department of Employment and Economic Development on Wednesday awarded grants totaling $19 million to 35 small cites and counties for rehabilitation and infrastructure projects. "The vitality of our communities depends upon strong infrastructure and good, affordable housing," Gov. Mark Dayton said.

June 30, 2018 - Inveraray & District won the third major competition of the RSPBA season, the European Championships, held again in the north of Scotland at Forres, near Inverness. Weather was mostly sunny and warm, and the multi-beer-tent verdant setting was its usual welcoming and friendly atmosphere, making it one of the most popular venues in the RSPBA season.
