Fugitive MN grandmother caught in Texas 

The U.S. Marshal Service says that Riess was arrested around 8:25 p.m. Thursday at a bar and restaurant in South Padre. Two deputies made the arrest without any incident, according to authorities.

Grandmother Accused of Killing Her Husband Captured in Texas 

A grandmother accused of killing her husband before traveling across the country to impersonate and kill another woman, has been arrested in Texas, authorities said. A nationwide manhunt for Lois Riess, 56, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, ended Thursday when she was captured in South Padre Island, Texas, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said.

Woman on the run after allegedly killing husband, doppelganger in multi-state crime spree 

Investigators are on the hunt for a 56-year-old Minnesota woman wanted for allegedly shooting her husband to death, then targeting and killing a Florida woman who looked like her. She has crossed several states in the alleged killing spree that has spanned 1,500 miles and she hasn't been caught yet.

Woman on the run after allegedly committing double murder, stealing woman's identity 

Police have kicked off a nationwide search for a woman who police say killed her husband in late March and then stole the identity of another woman after killing her last week. Lois Reiss, 56, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, is suspected of killing her husband, David, in their home on March 23, according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.

MN woman is now a suspect in second murder 

Lois Riess, the Blooming Prairie woman being sought in connection with her husband's murder, is now a suspect in a second murder. The Lee County Sheriff's Office has identified Riess as a suspect in the shooting death of Pamela Hutchinson of Bradenton, Florida.
