This house is a 1901 Craftsman style house from Montgomery Wards. At over 100 years old it is among the oldest buildings in Two Harbors. The original trim and oak flooring have all been restored to their original luster. The house is named the “B & B Whistlestop”. The house carries a railroad motif throughout depicting the era of its origin that dates back to the old days when the railroad was the backbone of Two Harbors.

Bob's Cabins is a small, quiet resort on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railway (DMIR) is the largest iron ore handling railroad in North America.

With 212 miles of track, in Northeastern Minnesota, the primary mission of the Missabe is to move ore from Minnesota's taconite plants located on Minnesota's famous Mesabi Iron Range to DM&IR dock facilities at either Duluth or Two Harbors, or to connecting railroads at Superior, Wisconsin.

Built in 1946 by Porky Nelson, the inn was first a dance hall and saloon frequented by commercial fishermen and loggers. Much of the original maple flooring remains, which adds to the simple home-like setting created in each of the uniquely-decorated, rustic rooms.

Lake County Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the heritage of Lake County, Ohio. We offer events through out the year, including the Little Mountain Folk Festival. We also work closely with area schools developing field trip opportunities.

Built in 1892, the Two Harbors Lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a working Lighthouse. Guests become assistant lighthouse keepers and in the tradition become registered keepers of the light during their stay.

Lou's Fish has been smoking fish on the north shore of Lake Superior for 35 years, and is famous for its smoked fish, including smoked salmon, trout, whitefish, ciscoes, and herring. We use only fresh Lake Superior trout and Alaska Salmon in our wood fired smokers.
